Google Authenticator work with two-factor authentication(2FA) for your Bitsdaq account to provide an extra layer of security when login/withdrawal.
With 2-step verification, signing in with your account will require both your password and a verification code which generate every 30 seconds from this app.
To set up Two-factor authentication on your Bitsdaq account, please follow these step-by-step guides:
Step 1: Login to your Bitsdaq account
Step 2: Click Profile > Security
Step 3: Under Two-Factor Authentication and click Enable
Step 4: Enter the verification code which sent to you through email from Bitsdaq
Step 5: Download Google Authenticator on your mobile device
iOS Users: Download “Google Authenticator” through AppStore.
Android Users: Download “Google Authenticator” through Google Play.
Step 6: Open Google Authenticator Application and add a new authentication key
iOS Users: Tap the “+” icon in the upper right corner, and choose “Scan Barcode”.
Android Users: Choose “Manual Entry”. Enter the related information and tap the “√” icon to save.
Step 7: Enter your Bitsdaq email account and Security Key info into Google Authenticator. Scan your account info from the Bitsdaq 2FA page using the QR code or manual enter the security key and paste into the Google Authenticator to bind with your Bitsdaq account. Tap the Check-mark icon to submit your information.
Step 8: Enter the validation code to the login page from e-mail/SMS inbox.
The validity period for the e-mail box validation code is 30 minutes, the validity period of SMS validation code is 10 minutes, and the validity period of Google Authenticator validation code is 30 seconds. Ensure that the mobile phone and your computer time is synchronized.
